About Us
Tracey Humphries B.Sc MNIMH
Tracey has a First Class Honours degree in Herbal Medicine, following three years full-time study at The University of Central Lancashire. The qualification is the culmination of a life-long interest in Herbal Medicine, sparked by her Grandmother, who was a Herbalist treating family, friends and neighbours from herbs grown in the garden.
Tim Cappelli B.Sc
Tim holds a First Class Honours degree in Herbal Medicine as well as a first degree in ecology. Before becoming a herbalist he worked at the University of Manchester and also worked leading walks in the Lake District. Here he was able to share his interetest and knowledge of plants to fellow walkers, finding out more about the local history and use of plants in Cumbria. He is keen this tradition is kept alive and is used for the benefit of all, which is why he studied for herbal medicine at the University of Central Lancashire amd is why he became part of Kew Gardens' Ethnomedica project to collect and record the traditional use of herbs.
This work led directly to Tim taking a 6 week trip out to New Zealand in 2007 to study the use of traditional Moari herbs and Tim's dedicated to, and interest in, the use of Herbal medicine led to him winning the Nigel Wynn Award from NIMH when he graduated
